A few days pass. And both Noel and Sevan have apologize to one another. Noel tells Sevan about her telepathic link with Jomb. Sevan is happy and gives as much information as she can. The only thing she don't know is where in space they are. All they know is that they are in the outer rim, orbiting a small planet with two moons.

Zebb is still avoiding Noel, and has yet to tell her why.

Noel is confused by Zebbs recent change. He won't tell her why he is so distant, and it is really getting to her. Normally she wouldn't be bothered by it, but she really needs to mate. Otherwise she may harm him, and she doesn't really want to do that. Her hormones leave her unpredictable and extremely moody. She knows if she don't mate soon, she may attack and take him by force. She don't want that to happen, she wants the mating to be special for the both of them. It is either they mate or she leaves to another room. She will leave the decision to him.

The light from the sun peaks up over the planets surface and shines into the room. Noel who was up all night, gets up and walks over to the window. She just love watching the sunrise over the planet. It gives her a sense of peace. She hears Zebb stir behind her. She decides now is the time to talk him about her little problem.

Zebb gets up and comes over to the window and stands next to Noel.

"The sunrise is sure beautiful this morning." He looks at her and asks. "Have you been up all night?"

"Yeah, I have had a lot on my mind and couldn't sleep. I didn't keep you awake did I?" She asks.

"For a little while, but I did eventually fall asleep." He says as he stretches.

"Sorry, I tried to be quite."

"It's okay, but I really wish you would sleep." Zebb says. He gives her a quick kiss on the forehead and walks away. "I'm going to go take a shower before breakfast comes."

"Wait Zebb, can we talk first."

"Can't it wait till after breakfast."

"No it can't." She yells. This is very important, I need to tell you something now."

Alarmed he says. "Okay, okay what is so important that you NEED to tell me."

She goes over and sits on her bed. She looks over at him and asks. "First off I want to know if you still love me?"

What kind of question is that?" He asks. "Yes of course I still love you." He goes over and sits next to her.

She looks straight at him and asks. "Then why have you been avoiding me?"

He looks down and sighs. He knew he would have to answers this question sooner or later. He was just hoping it would be later then sooner. He looks back up at her and says. "Well because of what almost happened. You took me by surprise. Then, after Sevan interrupted us, I had time to think. I had been thinking this is no place for such... ummmm ..... activities. So I figured that the only way keep it from happening again would to keep to myself. I'm am really sorry. I do really love you."

Noel just look at him. Now it was her turn to tell all. "I understand, but if you don't want to mate here I'm going to have to see if I can be put into another room, and hope another male doesn't show up."

"What do you mean?"

"Well I'm am not out of my mating cycle yet, and I don't think I will ever be until I mate. And you seen the way I can be.... remember when I attacked you. I'm afraid I will hurt you if I stay here."

"But, I thought it was over. You have been so normal."

"Yes I was, but that's due to a plant I found. I used to mix it with water and drink it. It kept my hormones at bay. But I haven't had any in months. And now the need to mate has rose again." She got up and walked to the other side of the room. "I'm sorry about this, I don't like the idea of mating here either. I wanted our first time to be special and romantic."

Zebb looks over at her and asks "Can...can I think about it."

Noel nods and says. "But the decision needs to be made by the time breakfast is done. If not, I'm going to ask Sevan if I can be put into another room."

Zebb sighs and says. "Okay... I'm going to take a shower now."

He goes and takes his shower. He stays in there a very long time, thinking about what to do. He loves Noel so much. But like Noel said he wanted the first time to be special and romantic, not in some holding cell. Another thing is that she didn't WANT to mate, but she NEEDED to mate. He just could go through with it, it would be wrong. But if he decided she should go....he couldn't live with that either. What would happen if some other male took advantage of her. He would feel so bad. Plus the thought of maybe never seeing her again would kill him.

He was still trying to decide what to do when he heard Sevan enter the room with breakfast. He turns off the water and grabs a towel and wraps it around himself. He leaves the shower and sees the two females talking.

He grabs a plate and sits on the bed. He slowly starts to eat without saying a word. Noel takes her plate and starts to eat, still talking to Sevan.

After the food was gone Zebb just sits there, Sevan walks over and takes his plate. "You seem to be quite today, you feeling okay?" She asks.

"I .....I have a lot on my mind." He looks over at Noel. He just shakes his head. He just can't do it.

Noel looks at Zebb with disappointment, then she turns towards Sevan. "Sevan I have to ask you something."

"Sure what is it?"

"I... want to know if I could......"

Zebb jumps up yells. "NOOOOO don't." He runs over to Noel and grabs her. "Please don't do it." He just couldn't see her leave. Plus mating with her wouldn't be that bad. Even though it would be in a holding cell, he could make it work.

Sevan gives them a look of confusion. "What is going on?"

Noel smiles at Zebb and says. "It is nothing Sevan, a different decision was made."

Sevan who still looks confused says. "Well I have no idea what is going on. And I have no time to find out, I have to get back to work." She gathers the plates and heads towards the door.

Zebb turns and looks at Sevan. "Can you knock or something before you come in next time. We may be..... ummm...... busy."

Sevan eyes get wide and she smiles. "Sure."

Right after Sevan closes the door. Zebb pulls Noel in close and gives her a passionate kiss. After about a minute they break for air. "I just couldn't let you leave." He kisses her again.

Noel finally pulls away. She looks at Zebb and asks. "So you have decided we should mate?"

"Kind of, I was between seeing you go, or mating with you. Any sane man would choose mating." He smiles and leans in for another small kiss. He pulls away and says "However I'm going to make you wait. I want to make this at least a tad romantic. So it's not going to be like right now, I want it to just happen with no planning, a surprise you know. And now isn't the time."

"Sounds wonderful, just make sure not to wait to long, other wise I may take matters in my own hands and it won't be as pleasant."

"Don't worry, it won't be that long." He smiled and he kissed her again.
