Hope, Tears, And A Song.

The door opens and Sevan walks in with dinner. Noel jumps up in shock and stands next to Zebb. She starts to button up her shirt while Zebb is fixing his pants.

Sevan see all and blushes "Ohhh geez, I'm so sorry..... I'll..... ummmmmm leave this here and come back later." She put a try of food down and starts to walk away.

"No wait, I want to talk to you." Says Noel.

"Now?" Both Zebb and Sevan ask together.

"Yeah. I want to know what is going on. I mean, Zebb told me why he is here but why am I? Why save me, then keep me as a prisoner." Asks Noel.

"Honestly, I don't know." Said Sevan "I never ask Mas Kon what he does with his prisoners. He may keep you as a slave, like myself."

"I will never be a slave. I would rather die first." Said Noel angrily

"That's how I was at first. But I gave in and now I do what ever Mas Kon wants. I figure if I don't argue with him and do what he wants me to do, he will give me my freedom when I turn 18, like he promised." Sevan says and smiles

"But what if he don't?" Zebb asks getting up. He walks over to the food and sees what the nights dinner is.

Sevan sighs and says "Well then my boyfriend may buy me from Mas Kon. And if that don't work he says he will basically sneak me off the ship. And Yes I do realize that would mean having Mas Kon after the both of us. But I'm willing to take that risk to be with him."

"How do you think he can get you off the ship." Asked Zebb through a mouthful of food.

"Easy, Aziah is Mas Kons step son. Unlike me Aziah is allowed off the ship. Right now he has joined a University on Coruscant." Says Sevan.

Noel and Zebb look at each other. They realize they are thinking of the same thing, a potential rescue.

Noel looks back at Sevan and asks hopefully. "Is there any way to reach Aziah."

Sevan shakes her head and says. "No, not any more. He lost holo-net connection several weeks ago. Ohhhh I miss him so much."

Still hopeful, Noel asks. "Is there any way for you to reach the outside worlds at all?"

Sevan sighs and shakes her head again and says ." No. Only Aziah knew the security codes to get through. We would chat on a secure line, nobody knew not even Mas Kon. I did however hack through once and start a blog but since they change codes everyday it is near impossible to get through them"

"Is there any way you can get through again..... Please our lives depend on this." Noel pleaded.

Sevan shook her head. "I..... I can't. I'm sorry. MY future depends on how happy Mas Kon is. If I try anything stupid he will kill me or keep me from seeing Aziah. Either way my life would be over."

"I swear if you help us get out of here, I promise I will keep you and Aziah safe. I can also give you both jobs on Sky City. Please you are our only hope to get out of here alive" Noel was almost yelling. Luckily the room was sound proof.

"All the prisoners say that. But I know better. Nobody is more powerful then Kloddo. And since Kloddo wants Zebb dead, Zebb will die. Sorry but that's the way it works in these parts." Said Seven who was starting to feel uneasy.

Noel was almost in tears. "If you don't help and Zebb is killed MY life will be over. Don't you understand." Zebb walks over to Noel and tries to comfort her. As he holds her she cries into his shoulder. "What a selfish little brat"

Zebb looks over to Sevan and says. ""I think it would be best if you left"

Sevan just nods and picks up the dishes. She leaves the room and walks down the hall to a kitchen. She hands the dishes to a couple droids and leaves without saying a word. She walks to her room and once there, closes the door and falls to the floor. She starts sobbing...... She likes Noel and Zebb and she wants to help them more then any of other prisoners that have ever came through. She feels so helpless, she feels so bad for Noel.....



Meanwhile back in the holding cell.

Zebb is holding Noel who is still crying. "Shhhhhhh..... every thing will be alright. I will come up of something to get us out of here." Zebb was now more determined then ever to escape. The only thing that was keeping him from escaping before was knowing Noel was aboard another part of the ship. But now that she was here with him, he had nothing stopping him. It wasn't that he feared death, he was more afraid of what would happen to Noel if he did die.

She has been through so much in her life time. Her childhood spent in the hospital. The shuttle crash that killed her parents and left her in the hospital even longer. The attack on her planet that killed everyone she ever knew and loved. And when Jomb showed up she was so happy, but he too left her heart broken. She had lost so much, he knew she couldn't afford to lose someone else she had cared for.

Just then a song he had heard awhile back entered his thoughts:

As he was remembering the song, Noel calmed down. She looked up and said. "I love that song."
